The Tourist Railway Association Kurrajong aims to re-establish the Richmond to Kurrajong line which has been closed since 1952. Almost all of the formation of the old line has been sold but negotiations are taking place with some of the landowners and Council to get access to some of old formation.

The group has five carriages of the type of the period which are being restored and is planning to obtain and restore a steam locomotive. It is planned to construct of a dual gauge track (standard gauge and 2ft) and commence services on the 2ft gauge until standard gauge locomotives and rolling stock are available.
